vGPU acceleration for Qualcomm silicon
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Qualcomm platform don't have vGPU driver available, resulting in all WSLg graphics running in copy mode. This causes some performance degradation. For instance, 1440p video playback burns 50% CPU.
Describe the solution you'd like Having vGPU drivers available for Qualcomm platforms.
Describe alternatives you've considered N/A
Additional context It might up to Qualcomm and some other pending Hyper-V arm64 features (iirc vGPU goes via a virtual PCI device) to decide their driver availability, but it's good to have it if possible.
I second that. The Qualcomm driver installed is currently WDDM2.6 It was mentioned that that Microsoft is working together with the GPU providers in order to update their drivers. What is the status of that collaboration with Qualcomm?
As an owner of a Surface Pro 11 I'd appreciate if we could have an update on this.
