Bulk add or remove a single value

I would like to add (remove) a value to (from) the multivalue field in once for a selection of multiple work items, using the "Edit work items" popup window, exactly as I can do for the builtin "Tags" field (which has "Tags (Add)" and "Tags (Remove") entries in the "Edit work items" window).
