Link to docs.microsoft.com?

Is there a link to docs.microsoft.com where this documentation is available? Or is the only option via this GitHub repo?

Currently these docs are available only on this GitHub repo.

See #43 It would be nice if they leave this issue or that issue open until that work is complete :)

@darthwalsh Good catch - I didn't see that!

We have 2 options:

  1. Move all of these docs to docs.microsoft.com - there is both an initial process-cost to make that happen, and an ongoing process-cost to keep them updated.
  2. Plant links from our current docs to these pages here - our current documentation is here. At the relevant places, we can place links to content that lives in the docs in this repo. That is a little simpler, and also gives us the flexibility to add/update directly here.

I am inclined towards (2) above in terms of cost/benefit.

I would definitely vote for (1). GitHub is great for WIP documentation and things that are changing, but at releases, it feels weird to still be pointing to another site away from the official documentation.

Ditto the vote for (1). I thought it was a typo when I found a link to the github repo for documentation, and opened this repo with the intention to submit a PR to link to the docs.microsoft.com page.

Hopefully the docs.microsoft.com team can handle the bulk of the work in transitioning content?

@pvlakshm Any movement here?
