After upgrading to newest version, copilot is not working.

I'm having the same problem. To be more specific, before the VS Code 101 update, I used to select some text in an editor and ask a question about it in chat. Now that workflow is broken. You must enable the file as context in chat, and even then, there is no good way to limit the context only to the current text selection.
The underlying issue appears to be that the chat has lost the ability to grab context from the active window automatically. After ensuring the file was linked, I manually specified the lines to reference at which point it was able to discern the section being referenced. Alternatively, when right clicking the highlighted section, adding the selection to chat does allow the chat to reference the desired section.
In the end it seems that the automatic context addition based on the active editor window has been lost.
