- Connect to the remote server through WSL and open a directory
- Link a file to the current directory

The issue here is that when adding a symbolic link to a git repository, git will only store the target location of the symbolic link and not its contents. I have pushed a fix so that no quick diff indicator will be shown for symbolic links which is aligned with how other editors handle symbolic links.
