Version: 1.100.2 Commit: 848b80aeb52026648a8ff9f7c45a9b0a80641e2e Date: 2025-05-14T21:47:40.416Z Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Code/1.100.2 Chrome/132.0.6834.210 Electron/34.5.1 Safari/537.36 Steps to Reproduce:

  1. i have one git repo which shows no errors running 'git fsck --full'. Other tools like tig, intellij, or git commandline show git-diffs nicely
  2. vscode (even without plugins) shows diffs up to a specific file when clicking on the git-graph (in the source-control)
  3. see screenshot, only the upper half of the window shows the blue progress-indicator, but the file-diff in question is never shown. vscode just hangs there (yes, you can close the tab, vscode is not dead)

Image

devtools-window shows no indication about an error
