Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: 1.100.1
• OS Version: Linux x64 6.14.6-2-cachyos

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Up Visual Studio Code
2. Go to any project and try to debug with copilot-debug
3. Profit??

The issue at hand: When trying to run a copilot-debug it tries to do something then I get slapped with ```copilot-debug npm run dev

Waiting for VS Code to connect... Waiting for VS Code to connect... Waiting for VS Code to connect... Waiting for VS Code to connect... Waiting for VS Code to connect...```

xdg-open does work just fine though. Visual Studio has used it and opened other things just fine

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.100.2. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.
