Copilot chat extremely slow in VS Code version 1.100.1

  • VS Code Version: 1.100.1
  • OS Version: Ubuntu 24.04.06

After updating to vs code 1.100.1 from 1.99.3, the Copilot chat is extremely slow to respond. Rolling back to version 1.99.3 resolves the issue. In vscode 1.100.1, github copilot chat version is 0.27.0 and the others versions are missing while in vscode 1.99.3 there are.
