Ability to open multiple file explorers

This one would sound weird I guess, but sometimes I feel like it could be pretty useful, especially when doing some kind of refactoring/reorganizing, and especially in monorepos.

How I see it: pressing Ctrl + / while the file explorer is focused would split it in two panes, just like it would split the main view. And maybe some hotkeys for collapsing them separately.

I can really see its benefits in monorepos.
