Paste and indent doesn't work

Hello,

since the release 1.79.* I ran into issues with "paste and indent" extension by g3rry (rubymaniac.vscode-paste-and-indent). I saw that this extension hasn't been updated for 6 years and I tried different extensions on the marketplace with no success. So I thought there might be a built-in feature in the VSCode, but apparently, there is not.

May I ask you whether there is a configuration flag that correctly indents a pasted code from somewhere else? It's been so frustrating to align my copied code every single paste operation.
