Allow to recover directories from local history
Local history it's a very useful feature. That said, it would be nice if it can work with directories as well.
I do not understand the ask here, what does it mean to recover a directory?
I've accidentally done a git reset --hard
on a branch, and multiple uncommited files were lost. In that context, when trying to recover the changes, i had to go to every and each file (one by one) and recover the changes.
Currently when you open the timeline tab (with no files open) you get the next view:
So, my question is: can this feature (Local File History) be extended so that the user can recover multiple files within a certain directory, or provide a file tree view where the user can see the files that were deleted recently?
Thanks for clarifying, no, that is not possible today.
