Disable Telemetry

I work in a secure environment in which telemetry data needs to be disabled. We need to patch Visual Studio Code for vulnerabilities on a number of systems. We deploy Visual Studio Code through MECM as a required deployment. The instructions for disabling telemetry on the Microsoft website will not work with how we deploy the software. Can you build in a switch that we can pass during install which will disable telemetry for anyone who logs into that system? If there is already a switch to disable for system can you please provide it.
