Are those files open? Does it happen if you start with --disable-extensions?

Are those files open? Does it happen if you start with --disable-extensions?

These files were opened, and the mistake happens sometimes with little probability. I have not try to start with --disable-extensions so I'm not sure it will happen or not.

Most likely this is due to an extension opening a file with the wrong casing. So it will help to understand

  • does it go away if you close the files?
  • how did those files get opened - for example, was it from a "go to definition" or a similar action involving an extension?
  • and if so, which extension was involved?
