This would need a RISC-V build of the VS Code server.

Is this close to be on the top of the backlog?

Hi, I can confirm that Code OSS itself works fine here on riscv64 archlinux.

It would be nice if Microsoft could release RISC-V build of the VS Code server so that we can use the remote plugin to remotely develop & debug software for RISC-V.

@chrmarti @eleanorjboyd @Chuxel @bamurtaugh @lramos15 Please accelerate the support for this feature. As a developer of RISC-V extension on VSCode, I really need this. At the same time, this is also a much-needed feature for everyone.

How does one vote for this? It seems way overdue.

FYI VSCodium and open-remote-ssh plugin(which supports VSCodium but not proprietary vscode) supports riscv64.
