Extension authors have multiple options to extend the chat experience in VS Code. Convert the current Chat extensibility guide to become a landing page that describes the options:

  • Chat participants
  • Language Model tools
  • MCP tools

Verify and resolve overlap with the AI Extensibility article in user docs.
