Playground/ Agent Builder doesn’t support GPT-5-Codex

GPT-5-Coded only provides Response API, it seems both Playground and Agent Builder are using chat completing by default , is there any way to specify to use Response API ?

Thanks for reporting this. We’re working on updating it to use the Response API in the future. Once it’s completed and released, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
