Checking if the model has already been downloaded and, if so, is complete, can save energy, time, and network consumption by avoiding redundant downloads. Many people have poor internet connectivity, which can result in interrupted downloads, and re-downloading can waste the previously downloaded model. Therefore, adding logical checks to reduce duplicate downloads can be helpful.
