Benchmark suggestion, power usage
With the AMA on the discord a while ago i asked a question if:
Can you please include in testing the power usage of developing. 10x speed is great, and i think power usage will be less, but its also a benchmark worth doing. My question, you did anything with this? Can you "notice" the lower battery/power usage with the go variant? (i travel and code sometimes

That's a good idea! We haven't measured it yet, but a 3x single-core speedup should already make a difference. The real reason that we have no idea: we're all compiler devs--we never leave the house, so our machines are always plugged in.
Just wanted to put it here to hopefully spark something and power usage is measured in a benchmark. Some ideas?
