Alternatives: update metrics
This PR updates our documentation of TorchGeo alternatives.
Notable changes since last time:
- [x] Remove inactive libraries (GeoTorchAI, Moonshine)
- [x] Add new libraries (TerraTorch, Myria3D?)
- [x] Re-sort by # contributors
As usual, maintainers of these libraries should feel free to let me know if anything is inaccurate or outdated:
- eo-learn: @AleksMat @zigaLuksic
- Raster Vision: @lewfish @AdeelH
- PaddleRS: @Bobholamovic @geoyee
- DeepForest: @bw4sz @ethanwhite
- SITS: @rolfsimoes @OldLipe @gilbertocamara
- segment-geospatial: @giswqs
- TerraTorch: @Joao-L-S-Almeida @CarlosGomes98
And let me know if you're aware of any other libraries that belong on this list!
FYI @robmarkcole
Dear @adamjstewart Many thanks! Ok with us!
This seems fair, just a tiny note. We have a third global model ('livestock'), up and running this week, so change that 2 to 3. More will be available soon. Clearly that download number includes alot of testing and such, I think a cleaner number would be lower, but atleast all packages are probably equally effected by that inflation.
Apparently most downloads are from mirror repos and CI. But yes, that should affect most packages equally. This is part of the reason why download metrics come last and not first, they are less useful indicators of how useful/healthy a project is.
Off topic: but congrats on livestock @bw4sz!
