Frequently experiencing unresponsive situations
Windows Terminal version
1.22.10731.0
Windows build number
10.0.26100.0
Other Software
No response
Steps to reproduce
After running for a period of time, it will appear relatively frequently.
Expected Behavior
No response
Actual Behavior
- I tried updating three versions, but the problem still persists.
- I searched in the feedback center and found that many people have encountered the same problem, but no one has responded.
- I have the same problem on all three of my devices
A couple questions:
- Does Terminal slow down, or stop accepting input entirely?
- Can you collect a memory dump (
Task Manager->details->WindowsTerminal-(right click)->Create Dump File) and share it with us?
I don't know how to upload the file, but there should be relevant error messages in Microsoft's feedback center. I chose to collect information at that time. This is the content of my feedback: https://aka.ms/AAvc7ie
PS: There are other similar feedback contents, of course, I only searched for Chinese content because my English is not good, and I don't know if there are any English feedback contents.
@DHowett Dump File
This looks a lot like another TSF/IME teardown hang we once had.
If you disable WeType (for now), does the issue go away/?
@DHowett What is WeType? is this one? If it's me, I can switch to grayscale testing.
