[Question] - Delay/Latency on SERVICEFABRICSERVICEREMOTING calls
Intermittently we are experiencing delays/latency whenever a service calls another service via ServiceProxy.
As you can see from the below image, a serviceproxy call for service "fabric:/Guts-Prod.Sports.Middleware/Events" took 31.8 seconds, however the actual operation just took 39.7μs
Services communicate together via the following methodology
From application insights we cannot the see the breakdown of this delay, to understand where the bottleneck might lie.
We have also tried to increase the MaxConcurrentCalls settings, as indicated in a stackoverflow post, however we still experienced such behaviour.
Can someone please help us understand what is happening within the ServiceProxy call and why we have such delay/latency?
We also sometimes experience the same problem, but we also don't know why this is happening. Also tried the same thing like you but this didn't fix our issue, we jsut feel like it is not hapenning that often anymore. At the moment only a small number of requests have these problems, so it is not very noticable in the overall system. So we somehow ignore it for the moment after trying some stuff.
