Can you provide more context on what you are expecting vs. what you are seeing? Sample code that reproduces the problem would probably be helpful. And possibly screenshots.

Force Enable Linting – In your VS Code settings (settings.json), explicitly set:

json { "python.linting.enabled": true, "python.linting.linter": "pylint" }

Disable Other Extensions – Conflicting extensions might interfere with linting. Try disabling unrelated ones to see if that fixes the issue.
