Android tablet Chrome: simulator does not show

Describe the bug

The simulator does not show. Tested on two tablets - Android 8 and 14

Live and beta. Chrome and Android micro:bit app.

The Test Domains button shows all Success.

It's OK on my iPad.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to https://makecode.microbit.org/
  2. Create a new project
  3. See error

Expected behavior Simulator shows.

  • Version [e.g. 22] 138.0.7204.83

I can confirm that neither MakeCode v7.0 or v8.0 load the simulator on my Samsung S24 with Android 15, when the editor is loaded.

If I click the "stop" button, and then the "play" button it does seem to start running then.
