Melody editor pitch to colour mapping doesn't match the expected pattern

It's confusing that the colours run the opposite way to instruments, for example, https://boomwhackers.com/products/boomwhackers%C2%AE-c-major-diatonic-scale-set
It's also unexpected that gallery item "Scale" is a falling sequence.
I found this research paper, which seems to suggest it's more common to associate C=red, D=orange, E=yellow... https://www.researchgate.net/publication/367509824_Two_Models_of_Pitch-Colour_Mapping_An_Experimental_Investigation
The expected mapping and sequence are something like this
Hi. We discussed with Martin this issue. I need that it is fixed, because I am presenting this matrix in a publication. Could you please change the code accordingly? Thank you
@marmanda we will keep this in consideration for future releases. However we have this color scheme from a while and there are lot content which depends on the screenshot, so we need to be diligent on changing the colors.
Thanks @abchatra
Agree, one to think about next year - particularly whether we should have a rising (rather than / as well as falling) scale.
I suspect changing the color mapping will have too big an impact on existing resources to be worthwhile, although it's a shame we're not aligned with boomwhackers (I've heard this complaint several times).
