Program too big error on download

Reported by an Educator - Recently when he has been trying to download games to his Meowbit, he's been encountering "Program too big" error messages.

Repro -

  • Edit this shared game https://arcade.makecode.com/S10046-57351-96022-80802

  • Click download to Meowbit - download button spins and nothing happens image

  • Click download as file - program too big error message image

Can anyone please provide wisdom regarding why this no longer works? I need a solution ASAP.

@gstager Dunk is a VERY large tutorial because of all the animations and graphics and it tries to upload all of those to the device. My suggestion is to go through and delete any images/animations that you're not using from My Assets and give it another try. Keep in mind that the ending animation is also quite large, so that alone might make it not work on a handheld.
