Syncing Microsoft 365 Emails With Uppercase Letters - Bulk Update Issues
Hello Everyone,
Please is it possible for O365-Moodle Plugin to change the syncing of Microsoft 365 emails which have uppercase letter to be changed to lowercase since it causing issues while bulk updating Moodle Users using a csv file. I had to update mdl_user table and make all uppercase letters lowercase in order to bulk update users.

It also causes duplicate accounts to be created with the same email but a different casing.
Is there any progress on this issue?

Could you clarify what the problem here and how duplicate accounts can be created please.
@aboarken, the original reporting of the issue mentions both "CSV user upload" feature in Moodle core and the user sync feature in the Microsoft plugins. Could you please clarify:
- the nature of your Azure AD users (e.g. their UPN and email letter cases),
- the nature of your Moodle users (e.g. their username and email, along with letter cases),
- how the Moodle accounts are created, and
- how is CSV user upload feature in Moodle core is relevant.
@sam-suresh, could you clarify:
- How can I reproduce the issue in which duplicate accounts are created.
