syncing workspace settings

I'm wondering is there a way to sync workspace settings (files in .vscode folder) to all participants. Currently I have some file assosiation local settings in /.vscode/settings.json , when others join live share, these workspace settings dont effect participants, giving error: "This setting cannot be applied in this workspace. It will be applied when you open the containing workspace folder directly.". And participants cant add their own workspace settings in live share session.

Thanks for the feedback. We believe this should be working but we're going to double check. It might also be the case that a specific setting would not work remotely.
