Carriage Return Line Feed - CRLF, or ^M

I notice the CRLF (a.k.a. ^M) at the end of lines in packages config files - destined for Linux machines. I would not normally expect to see these.

Examples include:

  1. The vscode Ubuntu 16.04 config file: https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/16.04/prod.list.

While this isn't the cause of my issues of installing vscode on Ubuntu 16.04. I'm sure it doesn't help.

Thank you for the bug report. This is something we want to fix and I've added it to our backlog.
