sqlcmd -? and sqlcmd -h are not working as expected

I am on macOS, zsh shell.

~ % sqlcmd -h
Sqlcmd: '-h': Missing argument. Enter '-?' for help.

~ % sqlcmd -? zsh: no matches found: -?

sqlcmd --help gives the expected output.
