Problem parsing GOs

Good day, I've noticed a parsing problem in the execution of scripts containing batch terminators ("GO").

The script I'm trying to run is:

BEGIN TRANSACTION
GO
UPDATE SOME_TABLE SET SOME_COLUMN = 'Some value' WHERE ID = -5737001;
GO
COMMIT

When I execute it using odbc-sqlcmd, it works as expected:

However when I use go-sqlcmd, it fails:
