Badges uses the palette colors instead of the status colors.

Originally posted by steabert December 15, 2023 The "success" badge doesn't use the "success" status colors, but uses green from palette. The message bar does use these colors. Is the former a bug?

According to the figma design the badges should use the status color tokens instead of the palette tokens.

Example: the warning badge uses colorPaletteDarkOrangeBackground3 but should use statusWarningBackground3

@miroslavstastny can you confirm if this is the right thing to do here? Should Badge be left as is or should we update it to use the semantic color tokens like success?

As of now, there is a mismatch between the community Figma design and our internal guidance. This should indeed match what we have in the community. I'll make the fix and make sure we update the designs too.

This needs a design discussion, as it is considered a breaking change. I'll update this issue once we have a decision on the strategy here.
