Scrollbar misrepresents file contents
Atm the scrollbar represents the overscroll aka. "scroll past last line" as file content, which is confusing, especially in smaller/shorter files. I'm not sure if this is also how other programs do it? Yes, it would be weird to scroll to the end of the scroll bar and then be able to scroll more, but the current situation is the worse one out of the two. This could be worked around with an option to turn off overscroll (#22 ).
I'll probably stick with the UI patterns of VS Code for the foreseeable future, as it's very popular and I think it's worth sticking to it even if we (you, I, and others) disagree with some of its UI/UX patterns.
That said, is this an option in VS Code?
I don't have VS Code installed atm, but I'm almost certain I remember this being an option in VS Code, yes.
