Steps to reproduce the bug

In Dev Home on the Environments page:

1. Choose a Microsoft Dev Box image and select the 'Set up' option
2. Clone https://github.com/microsoft/devhomeazureextension
3. Specify C:\users<username>\source\repos as the destination directory on the Dev Box

Expected result

The repository is cloned to that location on the Microsoft Dev Box

Actual result

When I check the expected location of the repository, there's an extra folder in the path matching the name of the repository (i.e., it is cloned to C:\users<username>\source\repos\devhomeazureextension\devhomeazureextension).

In my case I see the redundant folder with the .git extension
