Graphing calculator cannot process primitive function? Seriously?

Can't the calculator process such a primitive function as tan(10x)? Moreover, when you enter and press Enter, the calculator noticeably freezes for 10-15 seconds:

Yeah, when I typed $y=ax^2+2$ when the computer is too slow or $y=\underbrace{aaa\cdots aaa}_{100\ \text{or more times}}$, It doesn't graph and says the expression is blank.
