Why does calculator use combobox instead of textbox for delta date input?

Problem Statement

When using "Date calculation / Add or substrate days", years, months and days are inputed with combobox. When we have to add a certain number, we have to scroll in the combobox to find the number from 1000 choices instead of directly typing them in.

I hope that the calculator uses textbox for delta day input, so that we can directly typing date in, or paste the number from somewhere.
