Pressing F1 does nothing

Describe the bug I want to learn the keyboard shortcut to compute the square root. It's neither r nor s, so I'm out of guesses.

• I press F1 to get the manual, like in the good old days when Microsoft documented their software.
• I hover over the square root button, but there's no tooltip, even though I'm using a desktop computer with a mouse.
• I right-click the square root button, but nothing happens.
• In the hamburger menu, I scroll down to the settings, as that is the only menu item that might contain documentation or further information.

Expected behavior

• It's possible to discover the keyboard shortcuts for the arithmetic operations.
