Summary
What does the PR accomplish, why was it needed? Add support for azure proxy agent. Initial PR was reverted due to failure in ptest.
Azure Guest Proxy Agent is a new feature in Azure that offers a key exchange protocol to secure communication between guest and host using eBPF.
Add opt-in feature which enables the Azure Guest Proxy Agent when ovf-env.xml has ProvisionGuestProxyAgent=True. Report provisioning failures if ProvisionGuestProxyAgent is enabled but images do not have azure-proxy-agent installed or functional.
Change Log
- add patch files to support azure-proxy-agent
- remove the headers_cb, mock_report_dmesg_to_kvp, unit tests from previously patch file which causes failure, as they have nothing to do with azure-proxy-agent and not backported in current version of cloud-init
Does this affect the toolchain?
