Deploying a CD pipeline for a Django-based Python app Does NOT work

When I click on the Exercise 3: Configure Release pipeline, step1: Click on Python-CD, It keeps showing blank and does not show the steps listed next. I have tried in different ADO Projects, Organization but still it doesnt work..

Something is wrong in the code.
