Unable to upgrade azuredatastudio-linux-1.48.0.deb on Ubuntu 22.0.4.4

This is a common problem. Clicking on the upgrade notice downloads the file: azuredatastudio-linux-1.48.0.tar.gz which is no use to man nor beast. I've been through this with you many, many times. Just do what everyone else does, detect the OS then offer the .deb or .rpm or whatever is the correct file format and then make sure it CAN upgrade the application. Your MS Code colleagues manage it, as do Jetbrains and anyone else involved in providing Linux tooling. But not you though.

@Verythai The only way I manage to upgrade is to not bother with their download. Just uninstall the application in Terminal and then download the .deb file of the site and reinstall. When it's complete the installer will tell you the same error message. That's because it's now already install.
