Recent Connection List NOT feeded after cleaning

Open jakodev opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

  • Azure Data Studio Version: 1.46
  • OS Version: Windows 10

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Clean Recent Connection List
  2. Open some connections (in order to feed the recent connection list)
  3. No matter how many connection you have opened, the recent connnection list is still empty

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

Funny thing, I was testing if the recent problem about tab colors opened by recent connection list was fixed, I cannot test because of this 🐷

Thanks

Hi @jakodev

No matter how many connection you have opened, the recent connnection list is still empty

How exactly are you opening connections? Have you tried adding new connections or expanding existing ones in Object Explorer? I don't see issues populating recent connections when you expand existing connection nodes in OE or when new connection is added.

Hi @cheenamalhotra ,

from here the recent connection is not feeded image

from here it works and the recent connection list is feeded image

But, unfortunately, the tab color still doesn't change in according to the server group of the connection if chosen from "recent connections" (I've to report that in the right issue)

Thx

I'm having this issue too with 1.46.1. When I open a connection from the Object Explorer tree, it does add the connection to the top of the Recent Connections list, but if I'm in a query window and either Connect or Change connection, the connected server (which in my case is a saved connection) does not go to the top of the (or add to the list altogether for that matter if its not a recent connection).

Hi @cheenamalhotra , is there any chance this issue will be resolved? Almost nine months have passed since the report :(

Best regards
