New Modern SceneGraph Sample Gallery App & Design Confirmation

Hi👋

I’m currently working on a new visual sample gallery app that builds upon the SceneGraph project in the WindowsAppSDK-Samples repository. The purpose of this gallery is to better demonstrate visual capabilities. The existing SceneGraph Gallery App appears to be a carryover from the UWP era and is now quite outdated in terms of:

UX and layout patterns, Styling and theming, Visual interactivity,

A cleanup and modernization effort could go a long way in making these powerful graphics features more accessible to new developers.

I'd like to propose or contribute a new SceneGraph Sample Gallery App, built with WinUI 3 and modern design patterns.

❓ Questions

• Is the team open to receiving a new gallery app as a replacement or supplement to the existing SceneGraphGallery sample?
• I'm currently using some controls and features from DevWinUI, such as JsonNavigationViewService. Would using these be acceptable in the sample, or should I remove them?
• For the homepage, I've redesigned it following the WinUI 3 Gallery App style. I can also incorporate the carousel layout from the AI Gallery App if preferred. Which design do you recommend—WinUI Gallery, AI Gallery, or a combination of both?
