Open kkasinathan opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Windows Subsystem for Android app
  2. Go to "Advanced Settings" and enable "Developer mode"
  3. Click on "Manage developer settings" to open "Developer Options"
  4. Scroll down to the "Wireless Debugging" option and enable it

✔️ Expected Behavior

Wireless Debugging should be enabled.

❌ Actual Behavior

Not able to enable Wireless Debugging.

WifiDebug

Background: I have Android Studio and the development environment setup on a Mac. And WSA is running on a separate Windows 11 laptop. My goal is to connect the development environment (Android Studio) on Mac to WSA so that I can run and debug the Android app on WSA from Android Studio on Mac.

I was expecting to use the "Wireless debugging" option to connect to WSA over WIfi as suggested in the Android Developer documentation here.

Other Software

WSA version: 2311.40000.5.0 Microsoft Windows version: 22H2 (OS Build 22621.2715)

Please specify the version of Windows Subsystem for Android
