Project references are not explained in the tsconfig_json section

There is 0 mention of references in the tsconfig.json section: https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/tsconfig-json.html

I know that there is this other https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/project-references.html specifically detailing project references, but it would be nice to have some reference for the references attribute (sorry about the poor pun)
