Road widths

Any chance that the approach used here could generate estimates of additional attributes for road segments? I'm particularly interested in road widths as a starter, important for priortising locations for sustainable transport interventions, e.g. new cycleway protected from potentially fast moving motor traffic with light separation (wands, bollards etc).

It is quite important to classify roads. Maybe, the easiest way is to release the output of Semantic Segmentation, for example as detected road polygon coordinates. Any plans to do it? Thanks.

@Robinlovelace Yes, we did generate road widths based on the output of the neural network, however, at this point, in this repo we are only sharing road geometries

@leshaved Road Classification is both very important and is a very challenging task too. We did generate internal road class for Bing Maps based on Microsoft data, imagery, neural network output, nearby buildings, etc. However (same as with road width) we are not planning to share it here
