Description
Panacea is an advanced application designed to serve two crucial purposes: finding equivalent medicines across different countries and providing intelligent, data-driven consultations to users based on comprehensive pharmaceutical information. The core functionality of Panacea is to search for medicine equivalents by matching different drug brands across countries, ensuring medical personnel can easily identify and prescribe the correct medications regardless of the reference systems in use. Additionally, Panacea integrates a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system that intelligently consults users by leveraging a rich database containing more than 30 pages of detailed information for each medication. When a user asks a question, the app collects relevant information from the database and uses this data to provide accurate, context-specific responses.
Currently, Panacea is highly utilized by Ukrainian volunteers working with humanitarian medical aid, helping them to properly sort and categorize the medicines Ukraine receives from different countries. This functionality is vital for efficiently managing medical supplies and ensuring safe and accurate distribution, especially in crisis situations.
