[Color Picker] Add setting to disable automatic copy to clipboard
📝 Provide a description of the new feature
Please add a simple switch to disable automatic copying to clipboard.
I was hoping selecting the opening directly to editor mode would do the trick as it's the only one in the settings that doesn't mention that it copies the value but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Why is it needed?
I might have something in the clipboard I do not wish to lose while I'm picking for a color, I'd like to have the color just wait there until I'm ready to copy it myself. I also need different color systems depending on what I do so about half the time the automatically copied value is the wrong one anyway.

@Avhaz Thanks for a suggestion, we will consider this. The reason why it always copies, is because that was the very basic idea this tool is based on - quickly copy color into your clipboard. This will not directly solve your ask, but do you know about Win + V which is build into Windows - it allows you to have multiple items in your clipboard, so you don't loose anything if you copy something else
I think one item could be just to have an option to not copy to clipboard but yes, IMO this was built around the entire concept of quick color copy
Bump. I'd like this too; I was searching for a solution, after losing data I needed from my clipboard at an inopportune moment, until I saw this Issue.
When I clicked and the editor popped up, I had expected to use the clipboard icons as needed rather than suddenly losing my data, without any sort of notification.

@TFWol does that mean you have the clipboard history turned off?
@Jay-o-Way Yeah, I tend to stamp out processes that try to beacon online, so I wasn't a fan of what cbdhsvc was trying to do.
I'm currently using a heavily modified AutoHotkey workaround to at least manage text based stuff.
