[Run] Skin / theme / customization / size / transparency / opacity / overlay
Since I frequently use PT Run, I found that it is a bit dull to use only color theme to decorate RUN. Can you add a "add skin"function?
Anticipated effect allowing users to set a background picture for their PT Run.
@saahmedm hopefully in the future, as some comments mention in the duplicate issues when PowerToys Run is opened the background would be slightly blurred out to give the search bar and results more focus.

Why so BIG!? And more importantly, why so WIIIIIIIIDE? 80% of the width is unused, both in queries, and results. Suggestion: Settings for size and width (separately)

If the dialog is moved, the position should be saved. I found a "hack" in another thread, but it seems it only save the position until next run.

When moved to the bottom of the display, the search results will go outside the screen. When below a certain placement on display it should display the results above the input field instead.
I prefer to have the Run dialog show out of the way, in the bottom corner. Kind of like the actual run dialog.

Really like the "Run" utility, but the size of this thing is driving me nuts... Everything is scaled down to look as minimal as possible and when I go to search for something this humongous search bar pops up..
Any news regarding customization options on the size?
I want an option to make the results appear above the input box like this:
Right now they just get cut off if you move it to the bottom of the screen so an auto option to handle that could be nice too.
+1 for this issue, and in addition to the skin/image part, it would be great if the image could be larger and it respected the alpha channel so that you can do non-uniform non-square themes as well.
It would be good to customize more Run with fluent transparency and rounded corners to have a more modern look.
Approaching this issue's second anniversary, and Run is still comically large. Any updates on this?
The vast, vast majority of related tickets are concerned with either the UI's scale or blur/opacity. If we're expecting this to ship along with custom skins & themes, I fear it'll be another 5 years before this thing fits on my screen.
Is there anything we can do/contribute that'll get this moving?

Is 2023, and I see that a thread was open to discuss this, but most of the conversations cycle back to this same topic in an endless loop (and without action).
Today, I've decided to stop using Wox in favor of PowerToys (to get rid of the annoying Everything service in Windows 11), but the lack of personalization makes it really hard to work with. Is not only a massive UI, but can't change a thing about its looks.
Since is Wox-based, can you please add the ability to use Wox themes? I've made a few already that are awesome and would love to port them to PowerToys.

Can you open the theming options to the forked new UI?
This issue has been linked to from all other closed customization issues, but I think there's different levels of scope combined here that perhaps shouldn't be. A simple option for reduced font size/scaling, without any additional theme or customization support, would be incredibly helpful on its own.
Having a list of just 10 results use over half the available screen height on a 4k screen makes it very hard to visually parse results.
I'm outraged by the ugliness of the tool that used to be the pride of PowerToys. I don't even feel like doing the updates that come out, even though it's the tool I use the most in my daily life. It now looks like a big ugly rectangle in the middle of my screen.😥
Can we go back to the previous skin?
They changed default theme from this (old)
to that (new)
I liked the old one the font was bigger and the search icon was at the right side.
Can i use the old theme? Or diwngrade only form 0.8X to 0.6x?
