Media playback in Preview panel
Description of the new feature / enhancement
To just click on any audio or video file and already see a media player in the preview panel would be nice. It would be great not to see just a thumbnail image, or the text "Can't be previewed", or launch in a new app.
Scenario when this would be used?
In the file explorer in Windows, when needing to quickly understand the quality or type of audio or video being dealt with it from a media professional's perspective.
Supporting information
This is supposed to be a video file. Only shows a thumbnail in the preview panel.
Nothing is even displayed now with audio.

Thank you for this feature request! This would indeed be a valuable addition for media professionals.
I'll try to work on implementing media playback support in the Preview panel. I'll be researching the current File Explorer Add-ons codebase to understand how to best integrate a media player for audio/video files.
Will keep this issue updated with progress. 🎬
