Dashboard and Quick Access windows should have a search input field

Description of the new feature / enhancement

TLDR: Please include a search box in the Dashboard view (and perhaps QuickAccess also) to explore and find features (modules, etc).

PowerToys has grown and added so many features. It used to be quite easy to glance through the list and figure out what might be useful. But nowadays, it's so long, full of features and modules (thank you all contributors!!) that it's hard (and a time sink) to glance over and try to use PowerToys to its fullest.

I have visual limitations (brain trauma) and slow reader + often miss things. Hence I really appreciate when there's a good search inside a tool itself (to find a menu item, or a feature-module in this case). I accidentally found (just today) I could somewhat do this using PT-Run with the @ prefix, but it only searches them by name. It should be enhanced (or enhance-able) by including descriptions of features-modules because sometimes name alone isn't enough.

Anyway kudos to all working on this great awesome suite of tools, I'm forever grateful (and have been using forever also lol)!

Scenario when this would be used?

  • Open PowerToys = land on Dashboard
  • Then search for something: 'foo' in hopes of finding a feature about foo

OR

  • Click on PT tray icon = Quick Access
  • Then search for something again: 'zone' to launch fancy zones
