Steps to reproduce

It seems that usually, adding an alias to an extension does not turn on the "Indirect" toggle. It's as if the toggle's disabled state is set when the settings for the extension is created, so if there's no alias, adding it fails to enable it.

This is not always the case: I did see on occasion the toggle turning on, so the above is more of a description of how it looks like rather than the actual bug.

✔️ Expected Behavior

Adding an alias when there was none, should enable the indirect toggle, and removing it should disable it (which is also not happening).
